Crystal L. Brown, M.D., - Dr. Brown is a family practice physician in private practice. She is an assistant professor at Mercer University's School of Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine, and medical director at SouthernCare Hospice and Peach Regional Medical Center. She serves on the Secure Health Plans of Georgia board of directors and as president of Peach Regional Health Network, LLC. Dr. Brown earned a bachelor's degree from Agnes Scott College, a master's degree from Kent State University, and a medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. She and her husband, Rueben, have two children.
Brian K. Burdette - Mr. Burdette is the owner and CEO of Glasstech Services Inc. and Blueprint Conversion Technology, LLP. He is a member of the Georgia Rural Development Council, the Greensboro Businessman's Association, and the City of Greensboro's "Foundation for the Futures." Mr. Burdette is the chairman of the Minnie G. Boswell Hospital Authority and the Greensboro Planning and Zoning Board. He earned a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University. Burdette is married to Patricia Walters Burdette.
Jacinto del Mazo, M.D. - Dr. del Mazo was born in Piedrahita, Spain. He completed medical school at Faculdad de Medicina in Madrid in 1965 and went on to Crawford W. Long for his Internship and Residencies. He spent two years at the University of Florida on an HIH Grant for Gastrointestinal Research and Development. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He has his own practice, Del Mazo Medical Services, PC, since 1982. He and his wife Arlene are the proud parents of four wonderful children and 4 grandchildren.
E. Daniel "Dan" DeLoach, M.D. - Dr. DeLoach is a plastic surgeon with Savannah Plastic Surgery. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and is a clinical professor in the Department of Surgery at the Medicial College of Georgia. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and the International College of Surgeons. Dr. DeLoach earned a bachehor's degree from Valdosta State College and a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He and his wife, Cameron Elizabeth, have three children.
Paul Fischer, M.D. - Dr. Fischer is a family practice physician and partner at the Center for Primary Care in Evans, Georgia. He is a member of the Institue of Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. He previously served as chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at Doctors Hospital. Fischer earned a bachelor's degree from Earlham College and a medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He and his wife, Asma, have one adult child and survive one child.
Thomas L. Hatchett, Jr., M.D. - Dr. Hatchett is an OB/GYN at Habersham OB/GYN Associates. He is president of the Georgia OB/GYN Society and is a member of the Hospital Authority of Habersham county. Dr. Hatchett received a bachelor's degree from Presbyterian college and a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He and his wife, Lenora, have six children.
Kay Kirkpatrick, M.D. - Dr. Kirkpatrick is an orthopaedic hand surgeon at Resurgens Orthopaedics. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Georgia Orthopaedic Society, Medical Association of Georgia, Medical Association of Atlanta and is president of the Resurgens Charitable Foundation. Dr. Kirkpatrick earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and a medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She is married to Thomas Halton and they have two children.
Gilbert Klemann, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., Secretary-Treasurer - Dr. Klemann is the senior and managing partner of Albany Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has also served as a major in the Medical Corps for the United States Army. He is a member of the Medical Association, the American Medical Society of Vienna and the American Fertility Society. He earned a bachelor's degree from the Citadel and a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Klemann and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children and two grandchildren.
William H. "Bill" Lee, III - Mr. Lee is executive director of medical affairs for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. He previously served as president/executive director of the Children's Health Network, Physician Hospital Organization. He is a member and immediate past president of the Georgia Hospital Association Society for Managed Care board of directors and a member of the American Association of Physician Liaisons. Mr. Lee earned a bachelor's degree from Oglethorpe University and two master's degrees from Georgia State University. He and his wife, Liane, have two children.
James R. "Jim" Lowry, Vice President - Mr. Lowry is the president and CEO of Colquitt Regional Medical Center. He has worked as an assistant administrator of Vereen Memorial Hospital in Moultrie. He is a fellow of the Health Care Financial Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a former chairman of the Georgia Hospital Association, the Colquitt County Unit of the American Cancer Society, the Moultrie County Chamber of Commerce and a former board member for BlueCross/Blue Shield of Georgia. He earned a bachelor's degree from Auburn University. Mr. Lowry and his wife, Diane, have five children and eight grandchildren.
James G. "Jim" Peak - Mr. Peak is the chief executive officer of Memorial Hospital & Manor in Bainbridge, Georgia. He served as a trustee and chairman of the board for the Georgia Hospital Association and is chair-elect of GHA's Council for Rural Hospitals. He is a board member of the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals, member of the Rotary Club and the Decatur County School Board Foundation. He previously served as a memmber of the Health Strategies Council for the State of Georgia. Peak earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky and a master's degree from Georgia Sounthern University. He and his wife, Bettie, have two sons.
Joe Sam Robinson, Jr., M.D., Chairman - Dr. Robinson is the president of the Georgia Neurosurgical Institute. He served as the chief of staff, chairman of the department of surgery and chief of neurosurgery at the Medical Center of Georgia. He is a member of the Bibb County Medical Society, the Georgia Medical Society and a member and past president of the Georgia Neurosurgical Society. He earned a bachelor's degree from Harvard College, a master's degree from Northwestern University and a medical degree from the University of Virginia. Dr. Robinson and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children.
William C. "Bill" Waters, IV, M.D. - Dr. Waters is the chief medical officer at Tanner Medical Center, Inc. He previously served as director of critical care services at Tanner Medical Center. He serves on the board of directors for the Bank of North Georgia. Dr. Waters is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Nephrology. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society for Critical Care Medicine, and the American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Waters earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Valdosta State University and a medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He is married to Teresa Waters.
